We encourage members to engage actively with our content, respecting the standards we uphold. Members are granted rights to download and share selected materials for personal enjoyment only. However, commercial use without express written consent from Stonewax is prohibited. We maintain the right to revoke membership if any guidelines are breached. Collaboration and respect are essential.
Songwriting, Samples, Production & Engineering — Terms & Conditions
All songwriting, samples, music production, and engineering services provided by Stonewax (Steve Summers) are offered on a project-by-project basis, subject to availability and mutual agreement on scope, timelines, and fees prior to commencement.
A deposit may be required to secure booking dates. Final deliverables will be released once full payment is received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Creative direction, revisions, and deliverables will be defined at the start of the project. Additional revisions or scope changes may incur extra fees.
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, intellectual property rights, songwriting splits, and master ownership will be discussed and confirmed in writing before work begins. Stonewax reserves the right to credit completed work in portfolios, playlists, and promotional material.
Stonewax does not guarantee commercial outcomes. By engaging services, clients agree to communicate respectfully and professionally throughout the process.
Copyright and Ownership Details
All music, visuals, and content published by Stonewax remain the property of Stonewax unless stated otherwise. Users may not claim ownership of any content nor use it without our explicit permission. Stonewax implements copyright protection to safeguard its creative works. We reserve the right to take legal action if any violations are identified. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of our content aligns with these rights. By accessing our site, you acknowledge your understanding of these ownership details.
Booking Terms & Conditions
All production and engineering bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Once a quotation has been accepted, a formal project proposal outlining the agreed services, dates, rates, and project terms will be issued to the client. The proposal remains valid for seven (7) days from the date issued and must be accepted within this period to proceed with the booking process.
To secure studio time and project dates, the client must pay the required deposit within fourteen (14) days of accepting the proposal unless otherwise agreed in writing. Bookings are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received. Deposits are non-refundable and secure the allocated production time, scheduling, and preparation associated with the project.
If the client needs to reschedule a booking, reasonable efforts will be made to arrange alternative dates subject to availability. Requests to reschedule should be made as early as possible. In the event of cancellation by the client, any deposit paid will be forfeited. Failure to communicate, attend scheduled sessions, or complete payment obligations may result in cancellation or suspension of the booking and associated services.
Production and engineering service rates apply exclusively to services provided by Stonewax and do not include external studio hire costs outside of the provider’s own studio space. Any third-party studio hire, rehearsal space, venue hire, or additional facility costs required for the project are the sole responsibility of the client and must be budgeted and paid for separately. External studio hire fees are independent from production and engineering service fees provided by Stonewax.
